Wolverhampton Rhinos Wheelchair Rugby League team, in their newly designed and produced Code13 shirts, started of the new rugby league season win a win over Bury Jigsaw 28 – 4 and a loss to Mersey Viking 16 – 18, the games were part of the wheelchair rugby league association national merit league.

Code13 Sports Media have today officially announced their plans to launch a rugby league news website.

Set for launch in the 2010 off-season the site will be packed with rugby league news from all over the World, feature some top blogs and opinions along with some other great features.

Steven Devonshire of Code13 Sports Media said; “Following the success of Code13 Rugby League magazine during 2008 we feel there’s still room for our brand within the rugby league news sector of the market”.

As more and more individuals become members of social media sites the need for sports clubs to become active in the social media field also increases.

Beyond face-to-face contact, social media is the clearest and easiest way to engage with your customers, with a direct feed into their consciousness but with the ability to converse freely, something a website or written article doesn’t allow.

Code13 are pleased to launch the Code13 Keepie Uppie Challenge. The challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to perform keepie Uppies with a rugby ball.

The club with the most number of consecutive keepie Uppies will be declared the winner and will win 20 bespoke rugby league shirts.

Code13 clients, Malta came from 10-0 down mid way through the first half to defeat Norway 30-20 to take the Rugby League European Federation’s European Bowl at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Hamrun, on Friday night.

Centre Paul Bartlett’s 55-metre effort just after the hour mark, gave the Maltese hosts a 28-14 lead that was too much for the Norwegians.

Malta had vice-captain and Gateshead Thunder prop Chris Parker sent from the field moments before half-time, referee Steve Davis later removing Birzebbugia's Clayton Cassar for a raised forearm to reduce the Maltese to only 11 players.

We regret to announce that Phill Browne has left Code13 with immediate effect.

Phill could not commit to the amount of time required from the position and therefore Code13 has taken the decision to terminate his contract. We wish Phill well with his future endeavours.

The Malta Rugby League (MRL) and Code13 Sports Media have affirmed their solid working relationship following a meeting in London.

MRL Malta Operations Manager Anthony Micallef said "The Malta Rugby League (MRL) has enjoyed a great year on and off the field since our relationship with Code13 Sports Media commenced".

"It is a relationship we are both very much looking forward to continuing towards 2013 (Rugby League World Cup)".
