What's a keepie Uppie?
A Keepie uppie is traditionally performed with a football and is the skill of juggling using your feet, lower legs, knees, chest, shoulders, and head, without allowing the ball to hit the ground. The Code13 Keepie Uppie Challenge uses a standard size 5 rugby league ball.
What's the challenge? The Code13 Keepie Uppie Challenge is to complete as many consecutive Keepie Uppies as possible. Everyone in the team can take part if you wish or just your best Keepie Uppie!
Who can enter? Anyone can enter but this challenge is aimed at rugby league clubs, so if you're an individual you can enter and nominate a club to receive the prize. Super League and Championship clubs can also enter and nominate a local club to receive the prize.
How do we enter? Upload your video to a video sharing website such as youtube and then enter via our video uploader page, found here. Videos should be no more than 5 minutes long. Once it's be approved a selection of videos will be shown on our website! The winner will be the team or individual with the most consecutive Keepie Uppies as possible in one minute.
What's the prize? A set of 20 Sublimated polyester rugby shirts, worth over £600! No cash alternative is available.
How long have we got? Videos should be uploaded by October 1st with a winner announced during early October 2010. We'll also have runners up prizes.
PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure that any persons shown in your video has given permission for the video to be used, this includes adults and children of junior teams. Videos can be rejected if deemed unacceptable for any reason.
In your videos, feet must be shown. We're looking for real keepie Uppies.
